Hank Daddy

Pit Master and Owner Frank, worked in the financial industry for over two decades before discovering his love for barbecue. After leaving the world of finance, he traveled all over the Southern US visiting different restaurants and training with barbecue legends. 


Frank was a Certified Barbecue Judge for the Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS) and a Trained Judge for the Memphis Barbecue Network (MBN).  


In the last decade of business, Frank has done numerous cooking demos at consumer shows, talking about the art of barbecue.

Our Business

Hank Daddy's Barbecue's first ever service was Labour Day 2009, for the Maple Cruisers Fall Final in Vaughan. We cooked all night on our Jack's Old South Smoker and quickly sold out.


Shortly after, we bought our first food trailer and for a decade we took our rig to numerous fairs, festivals and catered events.


We expanded into the concession business and still serve our Dang Good Q at trade shows and consumer shows at the International Centre in Mississauga. 


In 2015, we bought our food truck which made catering and touring much easier. 


Our food truck can be available for your private event or corporate function.

Our Restaurant

October 31st, 2016,  Hank Daddy's BBQ opened its Flagship Restaurant in Vaughan, Ontario. 


Since 2016 our restaurant has evolved to meet the ever-changing demands of our customers all the while, remaining true to Kansas City Barbecue.


Starting in March 2020, Our restaurant will be home to Whiskey Wednesday's & Live Music.
